I was born and raised in Guayaquil, Ecuador - a tiny country in South America between Colombia and Peru. Perhaps you have heard of the Galapagos Islands?...those are our national treasure. Ever since I was a little girl, I always showed an interest in art. Not a day would go by that I wasn't painting something to be hung around the house. At the same time I was always messing around in the kitchen decorating cookies and cakes or making omelets.
Since then my passion for creating resurfaced. After finishing my degree in Finance at the University of Miami in 2005, I decided to get a second degree in Fine Arts (specifically in Accessory Design in Fashion). In 2007, I graduated with honors and started brainstorming several projects to develop. Alas, a bigger event came into my life that would put these plans on hold.
I got married on October 26th, 2007 to my college sweetheart Daniel and since then my life has been a roller coaster. We moved to a new town, got a new place and met new friends. Feeling settled at last, I was finally ready to pursue my dream of having my own jewelry line!
My inspiration comes from anything that catches my eye...from a t-shirt to a bouquet of flowers, colors and emotions melt in my creations. I use natural and semiprecious stones, some in their natural shapes, others buffed and faceted.
I hope I can bring a little piece of my unique style into your life and add some Latin spice to your outfit!
