Churchill's Foundation

Today we were at a benefit for the Churchill's British Foundation, we meet at the fabulous cigar bar, Downing Street, we did not only enjoyed the great atmosphere but also donated a piece for the silent auction. I attached a picture above, I named the piece Holiday Glamour. 

It is made out of 6mm white fresh water pearls, 6mm burgundy garnets, cloisonne black coins with pink flowers, and gold filled findings. The set consisted of earrings, necklace and bracelet.

The suggested retail price is $175.00, all the money raised will go to help schools in need.

Women's Association of Realtors

Today in Downtown Houston the Women's Association of Realtors had their monthly meeting at the Commerce Towers; they are trying to raise capital to send some of their members to some professional conferences in Washington D.C. and other cities in the U.S.

Sugar Blush Jewelry as a supporter of women's development in the work force donated a $150.00 piece for auction, bet of luck to our friends at the council!

Vintage Inspiration

As we mentioned in our last post we sent some of our pieces to Beaumont, Texas. These are some other of the pieces we sent to the art gallery that were inspired by vintage pins we have collected through the year.  We hope their new owners appreciate the necklaces as much as we did!

This necklaces can be worn as individual pins, the beads are removable! How cool is that!

Studio 55 @ Beaumont

We are very happy to inform our readers that Sugar Blush Jewelry got 15 of their pieces on display at the Studio 55 Art Gallery in Beaumont - Texas. After the horrible storm that affected the whole state, Texas is finding a new way to entertain bored crowds; wine and Houston art!

Napa Fun!

First time in Napa, oh my god thispalce is absolutely incredible! the food is amazing, the people are so nice and the wine.. well, what can I say about the wine! We are staying at the chic Calistoga Rnach; breathtaking! 

Now we are leaving for some cooking lesson but we will be back after having a little more fun!

Ike Hits Houston!

Yesterday night we have had to deal with a the horrible news that Hurricane Ike was ripping Houston appart; it was a horrible night that we had to stayed glued to the tv and try to hear some news about our hometown!

Thankfully, Daniel and I left Huoston on the last flight out to San Francisco; after walking around town and enjoying champagne and caviar, we came back to the hotel room and try to get in contact with our families!

The picture above shows a HUGE tree that fell right in front my inlaws house! it is impossible to go accross the street!

We have noview of the backyard! We lost it! you can see the filter in the left corner of the picture, and by the way that is a 30 ft tall flagpole! My God I don't know how Houston survived this storm but I am happy everyone is safe and crshing in our place!

We just got a new member of the Schiller Wong Family!

Last week we came back from an extended vacation to South America and when we arrived to Houston we received the cutest surprise of all... a puppy! Our very own little King Charles Cavalier - named by my two year old sister-in-law as Sandwich, due to his white and brown color similar to the peanut butter & jelly sandwiches she eats daily!

We have welcomed the puppy in our home with lots of love and patience. He is very good, but he needs uninterrupted attention all day long! As soon as you take your eyes off him he goes wondering around and never into good things.. as you can see he LOVES daddy's books!

It has been a week and he is growing strong and happy, loving his new place in the city and enjoying long walks in Downtown Houston's newest development, Discovery Green. I will keep updates on his growth as well!
