First two days went by beautifully!

We have been very busy over here, one day of shopping therapy with mom, great deals to take advantage of at Joseph's in Uptown Park; then also Saks and Neiman's had pretty good deals.

Bests buy.. Michael Kors super high heels, with light brown straps, and golden studs. With a suede matching belt!

Now, I need to stop by Create and Barrel, they just started their semi annual sale! Many goodies to bring home!!!

Stop by if you are around Houston!

Green Thumb!

I have been thinking for a while to start my own vegetable garden, I could make up my mind of where to put it and what to put in it; but now we found the perfect place!

Family owned farm in College Station, Tx; after cleaning what appeared to look like an old garden, we discovered four parcels that would be perfect for our initial project, "herbs".
We got a rosemary bush, parsley, basil, oregano, sage, mynt, all kinds of peppers and some tomatoes..

It was hard work, but after two days of digging and planting this is how it looks like! Thomas was a big help, when he was not checking and stealing our little plants!

Any suggestions on what we should plant next?

Houston dwellers!

Hello to all of our Houston readers!

I would like to let you know about this amazing restaurant downtown called Angelo's; it is located at Main St. and Walker. They just hired a new chef from Italy to create an amazing "Express" Menu for all of us downtowners.

The menu is easy, light, and fast. It includes a lot of items like: Marinated Vegetable Salad with Rosemary Grilled Chicken; Carrot and Ginger Soup if you would like something lite; if you are a little hungrier you should try the Skillet Steak. And the best part of all is that everything is under $11.00, can you believe it?

You can pair your dining experience with a glass of wine or a cocktail as well.

Then in the afternoons you can enjoy some live music at the patio seating at the terrace; from monday to friday there are different bands that play from 4:30pm until 10:30 pm; free wireless internet connection; free printing; and amazing coffee and over 21 varieties of tea! What else can you ask for??

Oh yes, they open at 6:30 am when you can get freshly baked bread and pastries; they will also offer delivery for free for downtown residents!

Stop by and let us know about your experience!

Thomas Made it!

Today poor Thomas my 5 month puppy had to get a surgery procedure, he was born with a umbilical hernia and he needed to get it removed. After a couple of hours of operation and lots of phone calls to the vet, he came out of the hospital at 4:3o pm.

On the way home the poor thing was falling asleep in the seat still from the anesthesia, as soon as we got home we took a short nap and when he woke up we ate two rations of his food and was running around in circles, he was supposed to be resting! I don;t know what they gave him on that iv!

But my husband and I are very glad he is back home with us!
love you Thomas!

Cold weather, Rockets lost, what else can ahppen in houston....

After finishing a wonderful weekend with old friends, their new babies, and picking up crops at the farm from my garden, we come to the en d of the weekend and what a bad way to close it all up... The rockets lost horribly to the lakers in a game that was not even close!

A cold front is going through Houston, which has made my allergies go nuts! and my puppy needs to get surgery on tuesday, I will have to say there are many things going on in H-town.

On the bright side of the weekend we just took our new collection of hairpieces over to Shyn Salon and we are looking forward to placing them in many other bridal stops, like make up parlors, photographers offices, and others! If you know somewhere we could send our stuff to please let us know!

Have a great weekend!
