New Category in our website!

Hello everyone!

I am very happy to inform you that in order to make our website more interactive with our clients we have created a category called, Wearing It Out!, here I encourage all of our clients to send our web host pictures of themselves wearing our creations, a small description together with the photograph is suggested. We will be uploading and sharing them with the world so you can share your style with other Sugar Blush Fans!

Also this new category will allow possible customers to actually see how other people wear Sugar Blush's jewelry and how they can wear it too! I hope to get your pics soon!

Spring is Here and we are wearing it!

Let us know what you think about our new creations, we where today at a ladies luncheon honoring the greatest moms in Houston, women who have spend their lives helping the community and making Houston a cultural city.

We decided to bring spring a little early this year, we wore a cut tweed Milly off pink dress with golden accent, and a silk belt, topped with one of new pearled headbands combined with pink pearl earrings and bracelets created just for the occasion.

New Inspiration..

As we all know after you have been down there is nowhere else to go but up; and that is the mentality we are keeping at Sugar Blush Jewelry after the lost of our dearest friend Fredrick.

In mid february we took an inspirational trip to Europe to search for new ideas to create sensational pieces for our clients, our first stop Rome, Italy. Chaos, noise, and art come one in the metropolitan area of Rome, in between of dreamy fountains, exquisite sculptures, and lots and lots of wine, we found that Romans have a great sense of humor, love for life and lots of individuality.

After walking from one extreme to the other on Plaza Venetto zipping on my cappucino, I think is time for chic meets timeless elegance, I am thinking on developing some pieces using lots of gray tones, mixed with some sparky elements like pearls and crystals to add that touch of vidality you find on every corner of Rome.

The roman gardens, indoor lagoons, and hidden passages also gets me to think women are ready to be playful and mistique, colors like blue, green, lilac, fucsia, and pink are main ingredients to be girly and shy, but sexy and chic atthe same time if worn appropriately. Of course a touch of vintage is always welcome!

Good Friend's Good Bye

To all the people who have followed this blog since I started it last year, I would like to tell you that last saturday my little Fredrick Von Sandwich was victim of a terrible car accident in a farm outside of Houston, despite the doctor's effort to save his life there was nothing that it could be done... Our little Freddy is resting now, taking care of his mommy and daddy from heaven. 

I would like to thank everyone for their prayers and words of encouragement for our family.

Methodist Children Hospital Benefit

I am glad to inform to all of our followers that we donated a set for tonight's benefit for the Methodist Children Hospital of Houston. We will be gathering at the River Oaks Country Club and collect some funds for this great cause!

I am so glad to inform you that after all of our hard work and dedication, sugarblushjewelry.com is now open!

I would like to thank all of our friends that have been supporting our creations since the beginning of this journey last October, and now we are moving to a broader audience and we need your help more than ever! Please forward our site to all your friends, coworkers, and family members that you think enjoy art as much as you.

I would also like to thank my family and specially my lovely husband, Daniel, without his patience, love, guidance, and support this project would be sitting in a pile of papers together with many others that I never cultivated. I want to thank my parents, who have been by my side even in the distance, always providing me with words of wisdom and their unconditional support.

Churchill's Foundation

Today we were at a benefit for the Churchill's British Foundation, we meet at the fabulous cigar bar, Downing Street, we did not only enjoyed the great atmosphere but also donated a piece for the silent auction. I attached a picture above, I named the piece Holiday Glamour. 

It is made out of 6mm white fresh water pearls, 6mm burgundy garnets, cloisonne black coins with pink flowers, and gold filled findings. The set consisted of earrings, necklace and bracelet.

The suggested retail price is $175.00, all the money raised will go to help schools in need.
