Yesterday night we have had to deal with a the horrible news that Hurricane Ike was ripping Houston appart; it was a horrible night that we had to stayed glued to the tv and try to hear some news about our hometown!
Thankfully, Daniel and I left Huoston on the last flight out to San Francisco; after walking around town and enjoying champagne and caviar, we came back to the hotel room and try to get in contact with our families!
The picture above shows a HUGE tree that fell right in front my inlaws house! it is impossible to go accross the street!
We have noview of the backyard! We lost it! you can see the filter in the left corner of the picture, and by the way that is a 30 ft tall flagpole! My God I don't know how Houston survived this storm but I am happy everyone is safe and crshing in our place!
First time in Napa, oh my god thispalce is absolutely incredible! the food is amazing, the people are so nice and the wine.. well, what can I say about the wine! We are staying at the chic Calistoga Rnach; breathtaking!
